Where did the embalming fluid in my blood come from?

In 2000 I felt on the top of the world, as if I had climbed Mt. Everest. I was promoted to my ideal job.  I felt spectacular at a size 6, just a size away from my modeling weight.  In fact, I was contemplating on returning to the modeling scene. There were no aches or pains in my body; my vital signs were ideal.  So, when I was slapped with the unsuspecting news that I had breast cancer, I was shocked.  But, the Taurus in me took the bull by its horns as I prepared for the operation.  I guaranteed my executive team at work that I'd be back within a matter of a few short weeks.

Shockingly, I did not spring back to my normal self as I had planned.  The oncologist confirmed they removed all the mutated cells.  Radiation therapy was challenging: I was tired all the time; I lost my appetite; my emotions were off.  I felt pressure in my solar plexus.  My stomach hurt after each meal.  I began taking enzymes to break down protein, dairy and carbohydrates, yet the pain continued. There was something terribly wrong, but the doctors remained very encouraging.  My primary care physician explained that frequently young women would experience early menopause symptoms as a result of the lumpectomy and radiation therapy.  However, I refused to be categorized like other young females.

The doctors reassured me that the symptoms would subside within a few weeks.  Four months later I was still in pain.  I had also developed severe lymphedema in spite of a low-sodium, low-fat nutrition plan.  I suffered from severe headaches, as well as unusual weakness.  I stopped taking Tamoxifen.  Slowly, I regained my strength, but the other symptoms persisted, especially the intestinal discomfort and stomach pain. I underwent a series of gastrointestinal tests.  The specialist could not detect any abnormalities.

Yet, why was I in pain 75% of the time?  Why was I bloated?  Why did I have difficulty digesting food?  Why did I vomit while riding in a car for a long distance (more than 30 minutes)? Although my blood pressure was normal, why did I feel light-headed?  Why did I lose much of my hair (the doctors said it couldn't be from the radiation therapy, and I wasn't prescribed chemotherapy).  Why were small pellets of mercury coming out of my toes?  Why did I smell a unique, pungent odor in my sweat?  Why was there a metallic, pungent taste in my mouth? WHY?  WHY?  WHY?  The doctors had no answers.

Luckily, a couple of close friends of mine owned a local colon care center, and they provided hydrotherapy treatments. My only source of relief was through the treatments. My body was releasing high levels of toxins.  What else was looming in my body?

My friends at the center flew in a specialist from Houston, Texas. This individual confirmed something toxic was in my body.  But what was it?  How did it get there?  How could it be identified?

The colon hydrotherapy specialists expanded their business to include machines that would help release build-up of toxins. Eventually, they took my blood samples to Germany to be analyzed my research specialists.  The results were staggering!  The specialists asked if I was still alive because they had never encountered a living person with such a legal amount of formaldehyde in their blood stream.

I soon began treatments to cleanse my blood.  Within a year my blood was normal.  Yet, I still was bothered by two questions: (1) Where did the formaldehyde come from and (2) why was it not detected by the medical community?

It would take almost thirteen years of research to find the answer.
