Heal Our Bodies .... Heal Our Planet

I use non-traditional meds, natural supplmenets and nutrition for breast cancer treatment.  I am very grateful for all that Planet Earth provides: the food, the teas, the honey, the healing trees, sacred land. Today, I play tribute to our earth on this Earth Day 2012. I dedicate my original poem so that we all may join in hearts to heal not only our bodies of cancer, but our planet of all the pollution, famine and disease.

Not Just for One Day

 Not for just one day
I pray
... that all people put down barriers
of resentment, bitterness, arrogance and hate
so we may congregate
in unity to play tribute to our earth.
Let us conciously realize
that together we can heal the polluted skies
so birds may soar in plentitude.
Collectively we can restore the ocean, streams and sea
so the fish can be free
to swim once more in pristine waters. As each person opens up their heart to unite
with all humanity
we might
restore the earth to its radiant splendor.
All disease, famine and greed
shall exist no more. Let us unite all hearts as one,
and align with the earth's core.
Then our planet's pulse may beat
again in joy and restore
the veins of the trees.
It is then that God will smile and say,
"You have done well, my child. Your work on earth is done."
